TechDirect Studio

Cookie Policy

Last updated 27 September 2026

In short: we only use cookies that are needed to remember your cookie choice and to keep logged-in admins signed in. We do not use analytics, advertising or social media tracking cookies.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website saves in your browser. Similar technologies, such as your browser’s local storage, work in the same way. This policy covers both, and uses “cookies” to mean either.

2. The cookies we use

These are the only cookies set by techdirectstudio.com and our product websites:

Name
What it does
How long
trust_armory Cookie and local storage
Remembers the cookie choices you made in our banner, so we do not ask on every page.
180 days
trust_armory_visitor_id Local storage
A random ID linked to your consent record, so we can show that we respected your choice. It is not linked to your name, email or IP address.
Until you clear your browser storage
wordpress_*, wordpress_logged_in_*, wordpress_sec_*, wordpress_test_cookie, wp-settings-*
WordPress sign-in and screen settings. Only set for people who log in to manage the site, not for visitors.
Session, up to 2 weeks; settings up to 1 year
wfwaf-authcookie-*
Used by our security firewall (Wordfence) to recognise logged-in administrators. Not set for visitors.
While logged in

All of these are strictly necessary, so they do not need your consent. If we ever add analytics or other optional cookies, they will only run after you agree to them in the cookie banner, and we shall list them here.

3. Other services

  • Stripe checkout

When you buy a licence, you pay on Stripe's secure checkout page. Stripe sets its own cookies there to process your payment and prevent fraud. See Stripe's cookie policy.

  • Google Fonts:

our pages load their typeface from Google. This does not set cookies, but Google receives your IP address. See our Privacy Policy.

  • YouTube and Facebook:

our social links are plain links. Nothing from those sites loads, and no cookies are set, until you click through to them.

4. Changing your choice

You can change your cookie choice at any time using the cookie icon at the bottom corner of any page. You can also delete or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential cookies above means the banner will ask for your choice again on each visit.

5. Changes to this policy

We shall update this page if the cookies we use change. The date at the top shows when it was last updated.
